Q: What is Gipht app? A: The Gipht app allows you to send a gift to a recipient without knowing any additional information other than their email address.  It is a perfect way to send chocolate because we verify in advance the shipping address and where someone might want their package sent. That way we can ensure the perfect delivery.

Q: What is the cost to use the Gipht app? A: The Gipht app charges $5 per transaction, and this cost is charged to the sender.

Q: How is estimated shipping calculated for the sender? A: Initially, there is a placeholder for $10 for tax and shipping. This amount is then updated to reflect the actual amount for tax and shipping once the recipient’s shipping address is recorded.

Q: Can I use a discount code with the Gipht app? A: Yes, you can still use discount codes with the Gipht app.

Q: Would the app work the same way on desktop vs phone? A: The Gipht app is optimized for both desktop and mobile, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.

Q: What happens if the recipient does not accept the gift? A: If the recipient does not accept the gift or takes no action, several things will happen:

  • The recipient has 3 days to take action and accept the gift.
  • If the recipient does nothing, then the transaction is automatically refunded.
  • You receive your refund for your gift purchase per the refund policies of the merchant.
