There is nothing else like this in America. The Bacon & Bonbons Experience is our newest immersive chocolate and wine event — and it is not merely a tasting. It's a true immersion into the art of chocolate, wine, and bacon, all under one roof in the Texas Hill Country.

Your experience begins in our exclusive upstairs tasting room, greeted by artisan chocolates made right here in Fredericksburg, up to three thoughtfully selected wines, a refreshing Dr. Pepper Coupe float, and the customer-favorite Wall of Bacon. Enjoy a progression of chocolates, unique confections, and exclusive wine pairings — every element designed to surprise you, to make you reconsider what pairings can be, and to leave you with a story worth telling. 

Savor expertly paired wines from our DKM Cellars portfolio and our wine partners, each matched to handcrafted chocolates and confections that reveal unique flavor combinations you won't find anywhere else. Hosted at our communal tasting table and watching the working factory in action through floor-to-ceiling windows, this is a sweet and savory experience like no other. Our bacon is prepared with brown sugar, agave, bourbon, cocoa nibs, and a touch of red pepper for a little kick. 

Just when you think it can't get any better, we bring out the grand finale. Served in a coupe glass, we use Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream surrounded by a moat of Dr. Pepper and topped with shaved single-origin dark chocolate — our nod to some of the best ingredients from right here in Texas.
